It is hard to stop Black Friday, but it’s easy to improve it
It is hard to stop Black Friday, but it’s easy to improve it. This year we are supporting the cleaning of ocean plastic to promote a greener Black Friday.
PROJECTKIN was built around sustainable design and conduct, with the aim to challenge the market and the consumers into making more conscious decisions. Since our philosophy is grounded in sustainability and mindfulness, this year, we took Black Friday, turned it Green and stretched it out for a week so we could all enjoy shopping mindfully.
Moreover, during this Green Week, each sale of PROJECTKIN suitcases or bags will contribute to Plastic Bank’s efforts of cleaning the ocean of plastics. This way, your new suitcase or bag purchase will be equivalent to 35 kilos of ocean plastic removed!
Plastic Bank is giving new life to ocean plastic by implementing a circular economy model to their business. They reintroduce plastic bottles in the market by recycling them into new packaging. Presently, Plastic Bank has collected more than 31 million kilos of plastic trash, having over 21 thousand collectors from coastal communities.
